Scenario:

A well-known fashion brand in Pakistan recently faced a scandal. The owner's

husband got arrested for allegedly sending their employee away upon diagnosis of Corona virus. The Police claimed the designer and her husband should have notified the authorities and admitted the sick employee to a hospital. However, the couple claimed their duty was to just send the employee away after guiding him. The husband got released the very next day for which they thanked Prime Minister.

Question:

Above situation has tarnished the image of the brand and the owner is being labeled as snobbish and representative of the privileged class. Keeping in mind the 6 Point Planning Model, device a strategy to convert this negative situation into a positive one.

Solution:

As u know this strategy happened with the famous brand of Maria B in Pakistan.

The product of this brand is so good and popular in all over the areas of Pakistan. Thousands of people buy their product even in outer countries their products are also exports.

They have all type of clothes for girls, for women. They invest a lot of money on their brand.

They have published their brand on print media through magazines, newspaper. They have also made their advertisement on tv. Their commercials publish on different drama and entertainment channels. They have also arranged their exhibitions. A Fashion magazine called Maria Butt Coco Chanel of Pakistan. In start, she only had one shop and few stitching machines. She started her business with few thousands of investment. With aim to expand the brand, Maria B is now largest fashion designer brand of prêt a porter, couture, formal wear, lawn, embroidered fabrics, linen and cottons.

This brand products is very smooth. They have a lot of products which they also export to the other countries. They have clothes for kids, girls and women.
